The Peter’s Rock Music Department’s mission is to captivate, motivate, train, and provide opportunities for those whom God has called to perfect their musical gifts in the spirit of humility, compassion, clarity, strength, and excellence.

Vision Statement
The Peter’s Rock Temple Music Department will provide appropriate, anointed music compilations during all required services. We will exalt God and let our lives represent the
God we minister about through our music. We will use our music ministry as a tool to evangelize, not only in our church, but in the community. We will allow the Holy Ghost to
minister through us, thus setting an atmosphere for uninhibited praise and worship experiences.

“It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD… for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.” — II Chronicles 5:13–14

Welcome to the Peter’s Rock Family Worship Center Church of God in Christ Music Ministry.
Our ministry exists to glorify God, edify believers, and evangelize the lost through anointed music
and worship. Through song, instruments, and creative expression, we seek to create an
atmosphere where the presence of God is felt and lives are transformed.
The Peter’s Rock Music Ministry is committed to developing individuals whom God has called to
minister through music. We strive to cultivate musical excellence while maintaining a spirit of
humility, unity, and devotion to Christ. Our goal is not simply to perform, but to lead the
congregation into meaningful praise and worship experiences that honor God and prepare hearts
to receive His Word.
Our ministry includes several worship teams and groups which include Sanctuary Choir, Young
Adult Fellowship Choir, Youth Choir, Men’s Choir, Praise Teams, Musicians, and Liturgical
Dance/Mime Ministry, all working together to enhance the worship experience and share the
Gospel through music.
